"Save Node Data" setting not persistent

The “Save Node Data” option inside the “Save & Load” group is not persistent. When I untick this option, save scene and project, then restart Unity, I find the option has its original/default value again which is true/ticked.

It doesn’t matter much practically however since that option is only used when saving it to the cache or saving it to a file, so letting it be unchecked or checked does not matter most of the time.
