I’m trying to do the same thing, I have AStar Pathfinding Pro. However, I’m on 4.3.54.
My problem is when i update to latest as of now, I get an error that keeps spamming about not being able to use Navmesh Cut unless im on unity 2022.
I’m presently stuck on 2021.3.45f1. Just because project is coming to an end soon, and it wouldn’t be wise to upgrade right now.
But i really need some way to solve this issue of my navmeshes generating inside. When i did put this component you suggested: RecastNavmeshModifier, and set it to solid, it does seem to solve the issue. But I use the navmesh cut in a variety of ways.
I really wish i could have this feature without having to deal with the errors that come up about navmesh cut. I actually didn’t even validate if it was working or not, enemies seemed to have been moving alright in a basic test but i have since branched and went back to main. I don’t know if its a “suggestion” to move to 2022.
