hi,I created a new plane in XZ and used builder.xz.WireGrid to create a grid. They are all in Vector.zero. plane has a collider component. My Lines-Opacity(occluded) setting is 0. Why is no occlusion?
Hi
Does the plane have a material that uses the z buffer (a normal opaque material)?
And you are sure the plane is actually in front of the grid?
If the grid is at (0,0,0) and the plane is at (0,0,0) that means they are in the same location. The lines will only be hidden if they are behind the plane. If they are in the same location, the lines will take precedence.
yes,I change Plane Y to 20,occlusion is fine.but, change Plane Y to 10,It looks strange,this is screenshoot
The shader tries to fade out occlusion slightly. Typically, it’s not noticable except that it reduces artifacts near surfaces. But since your camera is very very far away from the origin, even a position difference of y=10 will be very tiny in camera space.
thanks,now,I change plane y to 50,work fine.
