I’m having some trouble with lag when using the grid graph. It’s fine on a small terrain 100 by 100 or 200 by 200, but as soon as I go to 300+ the game is so lagged that it’s unplayable. I hope there’s a way around this otherwise my game will consist of lots of tiny maps!
I`m no expert on the subject but that sounds simply like a lot of nodes!
Have you tried to optimize the spaces&node amount better for example with RecastGraph?
Do you have “Show Graphs” enabled?
Drawing the graphs in the scene view can use A LOT of resoures, so turning it off should help a lot.
300*300 nodes should not be a problem for the system.
