Can ALINE be masked?

I bought ALINE because I couldn’t get the LineRenderer to respect a mask. Don’t seem to be to do that with ALINE, either.

Is there any way to mask ALINE?

As in, mask out, say, a rectangle of the screen? No, I’m afraid that’s not possible out of the box.
