Best way to create interior spaces to navigate on a spherical navmesh?

Basically I am just trying to have a lot of navigable buildings littered around the open sphere world for enemies to navigate in and out of. Nothing fancy with multiple floors and stuff like that, just flat one floor structures with multiple rooms, and therefore, tight doorways.

I am using the spherical navigation beta and I see that Navcuts don’t work and using RVO obstacles on the walls just create unnatural movement around them.

I apologize if the answer is easy, but I am new in this concept.


For spherical navmeshes the only thing which is currently supported is using a navmesh based on an unity mesh. Thus you would have to model the building footprints into the navmesh manually using a separate 3D modelling program unfortunately.
