After importing an FBX file with my terrain. I hit scan and the grid it creates is huge !
Is there a way to maintain the same size after I hit the scan button.
note: My Maya scene is built on the same unit size as Unity i.e. One square Unity cube = 1m x 1m in Maya.
Check the import settings for the fbx mesh (the asset, that is). Setting it to 0.01 might work. Also there is a Scale field in the navmesh graph settings.
Ok sorted… my Maya scene was scaled up. I had not noticed the 400+% extra in scaling… not sure why… so the basic Maya Cube I have setup for scaling ref. was 400% larger… not good. all is smooth now
