RVO causing npcs to sometimes walk in a circle instead of going to target

For some reason, when I have an RVO enabled for a unit, I’m seeing them sometimes going around in a circle around the target point.

Is there a way to avoid this? I am using A* 4.x.

This has been somewhat mitigated in version 5. Especially with the new FollowerEntity movement script.

But other fields that can imprive it is to use a higher slowdown time/distance.
