RVO and realistic avoidance?

So from what I saw after buying it is that RVO is not really suited for realistic crowd avoidance where rootmotion is required for fluid character movement, am i right? It seems made for large crowds of agents where the player wont notice when they make unnatural turns and stuff like that…

So for example in real life people crossing eachother in a sidewalk will know instinctively the most optimal path to take to avoid eachother, RVO doesn’t really seem suited for this, right?

RVO is not a “plugin human behaviour”-addon, its simply an avoidance algorithm. If you want your AI to act human, you will have to program that behaviour :slight_smile:

But yes, def better suited for large crowds imo.
