I’m trying to recreate the Girl in the Red Dress scene from the Matrix. Basically, I want a crowd of characters to walk past the player. Is the A* pathfinding project appropriate for this? Any tips? I have the pro version if it makes a difference. Thanks.

You are probably looking for some kind of animation tool with some crowd behaviour, not really pathfinding.
