Gap In Recast Nav Mesh


I’m trying to figure out what would cause this artefact in the nav mesh. The agents are failing navigate over it for some reason. So far i’ve not found any cause.

Changing the tile size to 16 from 32 fixes it in this case, not sure how full-proof that is though.

Ok it doesn’t fix it, just reduces the occurances.


Those gaps generally can happen, but the agents should be able to navigate across them.
I do know of at least one issue with that in the current version that has been fixed in the beta, though. So if you are having issues you may want to check that out.

A tile size of even 32 is quite small, though. I’d recommend at least 64 and probably 128.
