Do I have to purchase the asset store plugin again? [Old version(Depreciated) -> New version]

Hello,

Apologies in advance if this is answered somewhere else.

I purchased and have had a license for the A* Pathfinding Pro asset on the Unity store for quite some time, almost 7 years. I’m not sure when the old asset was depreciated, but I see now that the version that I bought is no longer supported.

Do I need to purchase the asset again or is there a way for me to upgrade to the new asset without buying it twice?

Hi

If you have bought the previous version you can upgrade at 50% off the regular price. That is effectively the same as the price in the current spring sale though, so I suppose you could just buy a new copy via the spring sale for simplicity.
