Different walkable areas for different NPCs, set at runtime

I just want to know if the package features allow me to do the following: set different walkable areas during runtime, for different non-playable characters (NPCs), at the same time.

For instance, suppose we have two islands in a map, each with a NPC on it. Is it possible to use any of the features in the package to do pathfinding for each of these NPCs in their specific island? If yes, what would be the fastest approach, considering that NPCs do not move all the time like in RTS games?
