Best Approach for Root Motion and Local Avoidance in 2021?

Hi I was wondering what the the most current ‘best practice’ is for using A* Pathfinding Project Pro with both Root Motion and Local Avoidance?

I saw a post from Aron in 2018 where Aron recommends root motion or local avoidance but not both together. Has anything changed in the intervening 3 years?
