Slope、Max Edge Length problem


First,I search same questions in the forum through key words like “slope” and “Max Edge Length”,
and I know the solution is that I can reduce Max Edge Length to improve it.At the meantime,it also influence the pathfinding performance.

On the other hand ,character might also walk smoothly above the having gap’s ground.So I want to ask about what bad effects do the gaps have?Is the only way that reduce Max Edge Length to avoid it ?



Even though this stands out visually, it is actually not a problem for pathfinding. As this is at a tile border, the system has some code that will properly connect those nodes anyway.
You should be able to safely ignore this.
