I have Astar version 5.2.1 and I got the dialog prompting 5.2.3 which I click on and it goes to a web page that says to open package manager. When doing so I can see the version but there isn’t an “install” or upgrade button anywhere. Do I need to remove the package completely in order to install the latest one?
Hi
The package manager may have multiple entries for the A* Pathfinding Project (for unclear reasons). Can you see any other entries with the same name?
Hi Aron, not sure what mean about multiple entries. Here is a screenshot of “my assets” which oddly shows I have 5.2.2 installed instead of 5.2.1 and there is also no upgrade or install button here either (Unity 2022.3.49f1 LTS)
Is the recommended way to use scoped registries (which is what I added to manifest already)? Should I just delete/remove the package and reinstall?
Ok, I removed it and then all the install/upgrade buttons appeared and I just installed the latest.
Scoped registries are in general more robust than the Asset Store, and you’ll get updates a few hours before everyone else.
