Editing RecastMesh in 3ds max - should I preserve Tiles?

I am using 3Ds max to improve the NavMesh surface.

While editing, I’ve noticed that Recast Tiles are not wielded to neighboring tiles, however triangles inside each tile are wielded to each other.

Can I simply wield all the vertices, or should I keep Tiles non-wielded, if I am planing to use NavMeshCutting?

Also, what should I do to the cracks (circled in red)

If you are going to export and re-import the mesh I recommend that you disable tiling in the graph. those non-welded edges along tile borders can be handled when the graph is actually tiled, but they will confuse the navmesh graph which doesn’t know about the tiling.
