Why does Velocity include a Z value when using 2D physics?

Hi there,

I’ve got my grid setup with 2D Physics and I have rotated is (0, 90, 90) (this means I can position it bottom left (0, 0) as my game operates solely in positive coordinates.

However I’ve noticed my AIPath character’s calculated velocity includes a Z value. I don’t think it’s doing anything wrong in particular, but have I set this up incorrectly somehow to cause this? (I have “Use 2D Physics” ticked.)
