Project suddenly very slow after update

After updating from version 4.2.15(Pro) to latest Beta 4.3.46, my project became extremely slow, to the unplayable point, with each call to ABPath.Construct taking exponentially longer than earlier. I reinstalled 4.2.15 and also reverted to Burst 1.4 but sadly the problem isn’t solved.

Maybe is there some setting on A* or Burst that was reset during installation? Any ideas on where I should start looking?

That’s odd. Maybe you can use the Unity profiler to see what causes this?

The profiler also becomes frozen, and afterwards when it responds again it shows nothing unusual.

Reverting to 4.2 did not help, but using source control to revert to right before updating indeed did solve the issue. That’s why I believe there’s some setting that, upon updating, goes wrong. I will keep experimenting and report any relevant conclusions.

Okay. Let me know if you find anything. I haven’t heard of this happening to any other users, but it’s possible that something goes wrong during the upgrade.
